Celebrating World Pharmacist Day

Spotlight on Steve Williams at Westbourne Medical Centre

25 September marks World Pharmacist Day. This is a global celebration of the important role pharmacists play in improving health and wellbeing.

Here in Dorset, pharmacists are a growing and essential part of the general practice team, working alongside GPs, nurses, and other clinicians to provide more personalised, efficient care to patients.

In the short video below, Steve shares a snapshot into his day to show what his role involves, how he supports patients, and how pharmacists can help people with their health far more than they might realise.
